The Short Version

Use our site. Hire us to make great films. Don't break stuff, don't pretend to be someone you're not, don't abuse our tools. Our work stays ours until a contract says otherwise. If something goes sideways, we'll work it out like adults.

Who We Are

Very Good Films LLC is a North Carolina video production studio. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Very Good Films LLC. "You" and "your" refer to anyone visiting verygoodfilms.pro or engaging our services.

What These Terms Cover

These terms apply to your use of verygoodfilms.pro, our client portal at app.verygoodfilms.pro, and any communication you have with us through forms, email, or SMS. Specific production work — scopes, deliverables, timelines, payment — is governed by the separate contract we sign for your project, not by this page.

Acceptable Use

Don't attempt to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse our site or client portal. Don't use our contact forms to send spam or illegal content. Don't impersonate other people or businesses when reaching out. Basic stuff — use the site the way a reasonable person would.

Our Work

Everything on verygoodfilms.pro — the films, photography, writing, design, code — belongs to Very Good Films LLC unless we say otherwise. You can share our public work (link to it, post clips with credit), but don't rip, reupload, or resell it as your own. Work we produce for clients is covered by the individual project contract, which spells out who owns what once delivery is complete.

Social Media Integrations

Our client portal connects to third-party platforms — Meta (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok, Google Calendar, and others — on behalf of clients who explicitly authorize the connection. When you connect an account, we receive only the data the platform's official API sends back, and we use it only for the scheduling, publishing, and analytics features of our CRM. Revoking access from the platform's own settings, or asking us to delete it, will remove the connection and the data we stored for it. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.

Communications You Get From Us

When you give us your email or phone number, you're consenting to hear from us about your inquiry or project — calls, texts, and emails, including automated routing to get you to a human faster. Reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in any email and you're out immediately. Standard carrier rates apply to SMS.

Site Availability + Changes

We do our best to keep the site up and the tools working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, pricing pages, or these terms from time to time — when we make material changes, we'll update the date below, and continued use of the site means you're OK with the new version.

Limits of Liability

The site and its content are provided as-is. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses from using the site — things like lost profits or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that legally can't be limited. For production work, the liability terms in your project contract control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
